Since 1976, the Indiana Arts Council has been organized and supported by YOU, the people of Indiana County. Now, well into our fourth decade and second generation of service, here are some of the ways that you will find the Arts Council supporting the arts in your life in 2010:
Treasures of Indiana County: Four exhibits that will showcase art collections held by area residents
3rd Youth Arts Celebration: May 1st & 2nd, Indiana Mall. Hundreds of area students exhibit artwork and perform music, dance and literary arts in this two day festival. FREE
"Chair-ity": A rumpus of a fundraiser featuring county-wide, FREE workshops for adults who are willing to use their inner vision to transform neglected wooden chairs into celebrations of creativity. March and April. Please Donate Your Broken-Down Wooden Chairs- we will pick up!
New and Renewed Partnerships with area groups such as the Artists Hand Gallery, Arts Path and The Lively Arts of IUP and more...
A Technology Plan that allows us to better connect you to the very active world of arts here in the Indiana area
